Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a versatile professional, responsible for a wide range of repair, maintenance, and renovation tasks. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role is customer facing, candidate must be comfortable communicating to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall.

• Inspect properties and identify maintenance issues, recommending appropriate solutions.

• Assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.

• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure the safety and functionality of facilities.

• Repair and replace defective or damaged components, such as doors, windows, flooring, and fixtures.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.

• Manage and maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in good working condition.

• Collaborate with other team members or contractors for larger projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• Familiarity with hand and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift or move heavy objects.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Flexible availability, including occasional weekends or evenings.

• Candidate must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.

• Basic math skills.
